About Firestone
Located at 611 W Poplar St C-1, Elizabethtown, KY 42701, Firestone operates as a tire shop serving Elizabethtown in Kentucky. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.
The business lists hours on 4 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8 amβ5:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (270) 765-2100. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, discount-tire-auto.com.

this crew is amazing . they opened at 8 am and had my tires on and i was at work by 9 am. their prices and customer service are outstanding and low enough that three other companies have lost my business as all that i need in services can be performed in one place. speedy and knowledgeable, i am beyond impressed. thank you William and thank you to your crew.

This is not a real Firestone. They offer no real Firestone commitments such as the lifetime alignment. They will tell you they are not an official Firestone but have all the Firestone advertisement in the world to draw in customers. Just donβt waste your time and take the drive to Louisville where they can take care of you or another local tire place.

If I could give them no stars at this point I would. My family has been going to the tire shop for years but it is now under some kind of new management I believe and it's immediately noticeable. Every time since that I have brought my vehicle here since the change over has been a nightmare. They have broken the motor on my window, kept my car for over 3 MONTHS for a repair (I had only brought it in to fix the AC), they claimed it needed a new engine due to decline of the belts and now that I have it at home the vehicle will no longer maintain a charge (not even remotely an issue before they serviced it). Mind you these occurrences have never happened prior to this change or at any other repair shop I've been to with this car or in my life. This place is now just a glorified chop shop and I would suggest that you steer clear of this place which is a shame because they old management was wonderful.

Warning!!!!This is the worst tire shop I have ever been to. They think it is completely acceptable to charge you for a new tire when your tire is blown. Then not replace the valve stem. Put the tire in your trunk. Ignoring the sound of the air escaping the valve stem. Also, endangering your life should you not notice and put on your vehicle. They have no accountability and will under no circumstance make the situation right. Not even apologizing for there mistake. But informing you that you leaving with a faulty new tire is not there responsibility. The customer service was the worst I have ever dealt with. They will not follow by Firestone policies. Firestone allows them to carry their name and use thereFirestone credit cards. But the Firestone office will not help you or hold them accountable for not holding up to Firestone standards. But Firestone credit will definitely charge you. Please beware of this company parading around as a Firestone. Go there at your own risk.

My boyfriend arrived at 8:00 a.m. to have tires put on his vehicle. After 2 hours it was still on the lift with no one working on the vehicle. When asked for an explanation one could not be given except that they were having trouble mounting the tires because they were stiff...? This is work that you do everyday and it's your own product!! Not a very friendly staff, nor good with communicating updates. Notified the lady at the desk about the length of time, she looked surprised which made us feel like we had been forgotten about. Then all of a sudden it was only going to be 15 minutes to finish. I would recommend going somewhere else for tires as we will not be back. I have had experience with Big O tires with my daughter's vehicle and never had to wait more than 30 minutes....and the price was better.
